Core Athletic Club’s personal training staff has over 15 years of training experience. Our personal trainers’ qualifications include NASM, Precision Nutrition Group Fitness, and many more.
Our Personal Training Director, Karl, has lived in Boerne for the last 2 years. Originally from Maine, Karl was labeled Top Fitness Professional in the Central Area in 2013. Along with his unique training style and vast anatomy and psychology knowledge, you will also always see Karl promoting his high energy personality and you will see him with a smile on his face!
Theisson, originally from Houston, has been training in the Boerne Area for several years. He has worked with younger children to older adults in a variety of different settings. From bootcamp classes to circuit training and 1 on 1 sessions, he is eager to work with our members in a variety of settings. With his enthusiasm and knowledge for health and fitness, Theisson is always ready for questions and excited to help our members achieve goals in a realistic time frame!

Small Group Training(4-6 people)
Interested in group classes, but do not enjoy the large sizes? This program is designed to give you that group class feel with more one-on-one attention.
Customized program to help motivate you to reach tailored goals set by you and your trainer. Meet once a month to get a personalized workout program, go over measurements, and discuss continued objectives.
Do you know how many calories your body needs to lose body fat or gain lean skeletal muscle mass? Do you know the right foods to eat for a healthy life style? Core Athletic Club offers Nutrition Counseling and Meal Planning!
Discuss your resting metabolic rate and your daily nutrition habits in these sessions. We will go over ways to make better daily food choices.
This will consist of two, 30-minute sessions. The first session we will fill out a food questioner, go over food we can and cannot eat, discuss foods that you like and dislike, and go over the times you are able to eat. The second 30-minute session we will be to go over your plan and adjust accordingly.
